They are not as popular as the traditional top tear variety. Why, I don’t know. Personal checks with side tear are much easier to use since the perforation is much shorter. Have you thought about this side tear option? I hadn’t, at least not until my wife ordered checks with the side tear. It turns out they are much more convenient to tear out. I always had a terrible time ripping checks out of the book!
